ServiceOne is becoming OneGuard : FAQs
It's official. ServiceOne is now OneGuard Home Warranties.
Why is ServiceOne changing its name to OneGuard Home Warranties? Turns out, there's another warranty company in Nebraska called, "ServiceOne" whose name often appears in search results for people looking for home warranty coverage. Over the past couple of years, this has been causing quite a bit of confusion so changing our name has become a necessity. While our name is changing to OneGuard, please be assured that nothing else has changed. Our ownership and management team is exactly the same. No merger, buy-out or takeover. Our focus on great service and coverage will remain exactly the same too - hassle free with no hoops to jump through.
Is the company changing ownership?
No. We wouldn't dream of it. In fact, we remain under the exact same ownership in the very same Arizona building as before. Same desks. Same potluck Fridays. There's been no buyout or merger and the way we do business will remain unchanged too. We remain a strong, stable and debt-free company. Only our name is changing (and our business cards, name tags and envelopes too.)
Why now?
We recently celebrated our 20th anniversary and now we have an opportunity to update our image to better reflect the needs of homeowners and real estate professionals across the Southwest. This rebranding will also allow us to better engage via Facebook, Twitter, Yelp and other social media channels. The time is right for us to move into the digital age.
Why is "Service" no longer in the name?
New name. Same great service. Just because "Service" is no longer in our name, doesn't mean quality service is going away. In fact, the opposite is true. We're always taking steps to improve our service. For real estate professionals, we'll continue to highlight the innovative offerings that ServiceOne has built its reputation on. Features like re-key services, pool and sprinkler coverage, termite and pest control and more. Hassle-free with no hoops to jump through.
When will I see the name change online and on my monthly statement?
If you're a homeowner, most likely you'll start to see OneGuard appear on statements and promotional materials after the first of the year. Nothing will change with regard to our process and procedures. Only the name is changing.
How will the name change affect my coverage?
Our name change will not affect coverage. There's never been a better and more exciting time to represent the service heritage and values of our home warranty company. We value your business and will continue to work hard to earn your trust.
Are you laying off employees or outsourcing call center functions?
No. In fact, the new OneGuard is hiring and as we expand into new markets, the need to grow will take on even more significance. So if you know of anyone who you think would be a good fit for our company in sales, marketing or administration, feel free to send us a referral in Arizona or Texas.
I'm a contractor. What does this mean to me?
The no-hassle approach you've relied on for years will remain the same. Only our name is changing, so you'll continue to receive prompt payment and real people who will never put you on hold when you need to speak with a knowledgeable, experienced representative for authorizations or other matters.
